Resident Well-Being

At TIGMER, the well-being of our residents takes top priority. Our goal is to nurture and provide an excellent learning environment to guide you through your residency. As the doctors for a better tomorrow, ensuring your emotional well-being is key for providing safe, quality patient care.

Life can throw a curve ball at any time and without notice. If you ever begin to feel lost or alone in life, all of us at TIGMER are here to help in any way we can. Whether as an ear to listen or a shoulder to lean on. There are so many avenues for help, never hesitate to reach out to your coordinator, PD, DIO, counselor, colleague, fellow resident or whoever it is that you feel you can confide in. There is absolutely no shame in expressing your feelings or concerns.

If you ever notice a fellow resident as being withdrawn, emotionally distressed or if they say something that gives you cause for concern, in regards to their well-being, reach out to your program staff. We will take the necessary steps to provide help and comfort for that individual.
